Ok, i did search, and read about 3 threads that mentioned something about it, but have no answer to my question, i am helping my friend with his 89 sohc, and we are throwing on a cone filter and a universal MAF adaptor. The question is... Do i drill into the MAF adapter and stick the air temp sensor in there or can i extent it and drill into that plastic intake pipe, and as far as the AIV goes, Which i removed on my DOHC, can you just let that run an open breather filter since it doesnt use metered air?

bump! Does anyone know?! 'Maybe if i clarify it a little more, its the sensor that is on the stock intake box that is also attached from a wire to the Mass air flow sensor harness on the intake.... Where the crap can i stick this? Do i just get some PVC and extend to the maf adapter and plug it in there?
