Greetings,

I'm new to this forum, and I had a question about the wiring from a 1990 240sx that had an automatic KA24e to an SR20DET with a 5 speed manual transmission.

I have already one the main engine harness (from the ecu), the one I'm having troubles with is the lower harness. (from the positive battery terminal and fuse box to the alternator, starter, and transmission)

My question is, do I use the harness from the KA or the harness from the SR as my base?

Also, there are a lot more plugs on the KA on than the SR, and I was wondering which ones were needed, and which ones are not (since i'm going from automatic to manual)

thank you for anyone who can help

thank you, i found a few topics about it through the search.

I still can't get a straight answer though.Everyone's so vague about it.

I understand that it would be mainly plug and play if I originally had a 5 speed, I'm just unsure of what to do since mine was an automatic.

well also search google for the specs on, i converted a auto to a manual last year and it was a peice of cake...the wiring takes place place in the fuse box, well that is on a s14 i dont know about a s13 but it wouldnt be to much different i wouldnt think, try asking for the diagram in the regualr 240sx forum
