i got a 89 240sx. and s13 body. had a blown motor and now i put a ka24de motor from the 97 s14. i got the motor in and everything but i cant get everything on the wire harness to fit. is the wire harness from the 91-94 s13 fit with the s14 ka24de motor?

iirc, no.

if i'm right, you'll need the wiring harness and ecu from the 97.

no i dont need them becuz i have them already. and it has alot of left over wire and is miss the igniter and coil for it. i think the 97 is different. that is why i am looking for the s13 ka24de wireharness.

u need the wiring and harness from the new engine

it is not missing the coil.... it is integraded right underneath the distributor, hence the need for only 4 spark plug wires. the crank angle sensor is no longer under the distributor, its now on the transmission housing (i think).

ppot have you done this swap already? now you know where the wires split into a y? the one that goes to the side. what are those wire for? the one that dont go to the engine.

sorry :( i havent done this swap, i just know the changes they made from the earlier KAs

the wiring may be alittle different, like different connectors etc. i really think your gonna need a fsm from that car year to get everything working.
