The Pros? Non really. The Cons? Your car won't run until you put a KA head back on.

Won't work. Also, the KA24DE head flows just as well as the SR head does. So there would be no gains from making the swap.

If you were to take a SR20 head with the variable cam timing then maybe that would be worthit. But the bolt patterns and spacing is all wrong, so none of this would work anyway.

SR's head design is really..... complicated. And it bottlenecks at 6k without extensive modifications. Besides the KA24DE's bore and stroke is far different than the SR's. The valves wouldn't line up properly with the cylinders.

Ka flows better than a Sr actualy, it would be a downgrade in heads. An impossible downgrade at that..

Flows differently. Not necessarily better.

In overall flow, the SR head does not flow as well. When considered as a setup, the SR head flows more freely on the SR block than the KA head does on the KA block.
