ka24det vs sr20det vs rb + inspection + gas

I wonder how much does sr20 and rb consume gas ? also if I swap the engine will it be able to pass the inspection ???

I won't go to which one is better because it will go on and on so just want to know those 2 questions for now

I don't know about the rb motors but I get from 27-30 mpg on my sr. better than the ka that was in there only getting 22-25. I don't have a light right foot either. I think the worst I've gotten has been 25 mpg(atmosphered bov).

i know you dont have to take inspections in ohio and i think someone said that the Rb25 get around 21-25 MPG not sure if thats right but thats what sticks out in my mind i'll net you know when i get mine swaped

Depends on if you have visual inspections. I believe Cali is the only state with it. With any of those engines, with a cat and if it's tuned well, they should all pass the sniffers.
