which can handell it i know that most like the sr cuz it has a hi rev but the kat isnt far behind and has more tork at lower rpm's so what do you think.

well id say just stick w/ a ka...ka is good enough..lol but trying to manji = fail w/ stock ka...if anything id say go w/ the sr... since its a stock turbo so theres really no tuning necessary where as the ka-t need to tune..

First off what platform? s13? s14? We have a ka-t s14 that was on the amateur drifting circuit an in CA as well as an SR s13 that has been in D1 Grand Prix driver search, so far no top 16 however our gu did get a license. I can tell you that there is a whole lot more support for the SR20 platform as a race bred motor. The KA is good for torque however cannot take the abuse that an sr can in stock form. The SR20det bottom end can handle upwards of 400 wheel horsepower and the KA can maybe get high 200s before it pops. Don't believe the hype about guys making 700+ hp on stock KA's the reliable numbers are posted above. If you want reliable hp and great response then I'd say go SR. Other than that make sure to get the other bases covered first. 2 way, suspension, etc...
