I have a 93 fastback that I've wanted since need for speed underground came out. I have big plans for this car. I bought it for cheep with a blown headgasket the guy wanted to get rid of it cause it was too expensive to fix and he had no idea how to fix it himself so i picked it up. I finished putting the gasket in and I've been driving it for a week or two now I'm bored and i want to take on a new project I know my way around a car I've been around them my whole live so I'm not a noob to cars I'm just a noob to turbos. I'm just posting this because i would like to turbo the car but i have no idea what to do. So i guess my question is what should i get, i was looking at the ebay kits but those look like hit and miss and I'm pretty unlucky when it comes to stuff like that, i would just rather build my own kit without having to rebuilding my engine. I still would like to do a compression test on the car just to see if it is in tip top shape for the turbo if not ill have to find a new engine or rebuild with upgraded pistons and such. I would just like to know what you guys think would be the best stuff to put on my little ka.

im looking to go 230 300 range. ive heard of people getting there stock KAs up to about 400 and made it work but its got to be a dead on tune i have know clue about the computers or anything. i would be interested in that long block what are you looking for it, where are you located

it says in order for me to private message i have to participate more lol my only real problem was with the computers, finding a down pipe, and piping with the intercooler

and all the down pipes i look for are just the one piece that doesn't extend down to the cat
