This is my first 240 and i must say i love the car. I have already done a few mods but not to much to the power plant. My questoin is, are ka24det engines hard to find and can i just swap the intake and turbo onto the ka24de?

I'm sure someone else can give you a more verbose answer, but in short....

Unless you purchase a KA 240 with 'bay work already done, you will not find a factory turb'd KA. They simply do not exist.

I suggest using the red search button at the top of this page and researching an appropriate turbo kit. There are plenty of aftermarket vendors with support for boosting your KA.
