Ok. I just put a t3 turbo on my ka and it idles at 3 grand. It keeps cuttin off. I want to know does this have anything to do with the egr valve. When i bought my turbo header i cut the egr valve off. The pipe is still on there but its not blocked off.

Check to see if the throttle cable is caught on anything of if the throttle body is held open by a hose clamp.

Shouldnt idle at 3000rpm by having a bad sensor.
