I have a 96 240 SX SE with custom turbo kit. no vacuum leaks, tried MAF in charge piping and MAF before turbo inlet. right now it is before the turbo inlet. Idles like **** when cold, fine when warm. Why does it want to hesistate and die? my BOV is open atmosphere. and i would like to keep it that way, and im running 5 lb so id like to use the KA MAF also. I searched the forum but couldnt find a straight answer. ALso, where should the 2 hoses that normally go to the OEM plastic intake pipe go? one is for EGR and the other is the valve cover breather. If it means re routing my BOV to the intake after my MAF but before the turbo, then so be it. but until then, i want to know if anyone else has a solution to my problem thanks!

Make sure all your hose connections are tight.

As far as the two hoses, they should be for the valve cover and the Idle Air Controller(not EGR). For the valve cover connection, connect it to a point before the turbo. You don't want to pressureize the inside of your motor and cause oil leaks. For the idle air controller, connect it after the turbo or it will be come a source for boost to leak out of.

so is the problem the idle air controller hose? it has vacuum.....do i tap into the charge piping for this one or put it after the MAF before the turbo?
