Ka24det godspeed intake manifold question

OK guys, I f***** up and went cheap and bought the godspeed intake manifold for my ka. Everything is decent.... but after going threw "superdrifo's" build thread and noticed he is running "velocity stacks (tubes)" inside his mani. He claims to have purchased his from xcessive but I can not find them.

My question is

1 how important are they? What if I don't run them.

2 Does anyone have a part number or link to purchase them? I've been on the search for months and cannot find them.
