Ill start by introducing myself. I own a 1990 240sx w/ de swap. Besides that, its sitting on kts coilovers.

When the motor went in, everything was good besides the leaks from the injector o-rings on cylinder #1 & 2.

So...i took both injectors out and replaced the o-rings. After that, the motor would just flood itself and hardly start.

I then took the injectors back out and already the small o-ring on #1 was being eaten away (so i replaced it again). When i put them back in, i swapped #1 and 2 around just to see what it would change.

Before cranking i checked if all the wiring was good, but the idiot i am forgot to plug in the injectors....it cranked twice and then made a severe grinding noise and stopped. I obviously noticed the wires after that and plugged em in and tried again.

So, what im guessing is my car is somehow badly out of time now and it seemed like the valves were hitting the pistons

What did i do wrong, any input is appreciated, thanks,Tanner

well check the timing. n check the chain postion on the cams as well. make sure this time that the injectors are for the right chamber. make sure the O rings are good then try again. see when you come up with. as for the niose no clue.. don't think you cuold of droped a valve or anything by not getting fuel to it.
