last week i replaced the front main seal after the engine almost locked when it got a bad leak. I started it once after that and now it won't start. The check engine light is on and so is the oil light but on the dipstick it says its full. Fuel is getting past the filter and has strong pressure. It's sparking too. It just wont start. It will sputter every 10 seconds or so. I am floored and am basically stuck now. And I have a vacation to the beach in 3 weeks! Thank you all.

You're saying that when you ran the motor, the oil light stayed on? If so, there is no oil pressure; possibly a bad oil pump or a plugged up oil pickup.

Without starting the motor, you can do an ECU code readout. The fault code can help you determine why you can't start the motor.

How do I do the code readout. I know its something like turn the diagnostics screw clockwise and back after it flashes so many times or something.

I think I am just going to pull the engine, it has 196,000 on it anyway. I found another KA on CL for $200 with 140,000. If anyone within an hour or so of Harpers Ferry has another KA that they are selling for about that let me know.
