Check Fuel pump/ fuel filter/ injectors could be dirty too check that as well! and last resort do a compression tests! If compression is low and adding oil to ur spark plug holes raises the compression ur piston rings are warn and arent sealing right making the engine bog out when u rev it up! This just happened to my KA so i have to do the same. Hope this helps! AND STOP SCREAMIN!40.5sst wrote:MY ENGINE WILL IDLE BUT WILL NOT REV. EVERY TIME I REV IT WANTS TO DIE OR BOGS OUT! I THINK IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH FUEL BUT IDK PLEASE HELP ASAP! ANY IDEAS WILL BE TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION THANKS
tru tru i 4got that little detail on the compression. yea its gotta be above 150 minimum or else u got problemas bro!! lol n yea i feel ur pain im driving a 92 Accord cuz of this issue! SO YEAAA Gotta love those aluminum heads!Speedy407 wrote:Dude it's your MAF. Mass Air Flow sensor. Check that first. Oh an when you do a compression test, make sure that compression is above 150 and not more than 5 psi difference on each and every cylinder. So if number 1 is at 176psi and the rest of the cylinders are 178, 180, 175 then your good, but if the other cylinders were 182, 180, 183 then you will have bad compression balance between the cylinders. But I know it's your MAF sensor.
