I did a ka24de swap into my 1990 240sx because i warped the head. The engine will idle decent other than running a bit rich. it wont rev up past 2500 rpm. it seems like a rev limiter.

i bypassed the sensor and the car would rev up but would not idle running exremely rich. so i went and got another maf from a nissan maxama with a ka24de to see if that would fix the problem. but nothing could it be anything else i am stumped.

i dont think this would be a problem but i got a cold air intake and its got a dent in it near the end.

any ideAS would be great, i am going to get another MAF to make sure.

try advancing the timing a few more degrees before TDC. My 2TC was starting to have the issue when i increased the fuel and air flow, but then i just had to take the timing before TDC more, and she runs well now. Any mods other than the swap? Are you using the DE ECM or the E ECM?

I checked the timing on the car and it is timed. when i un plug/ plug in the MAF nothing seems to change aND it still wont rev up. when hold t around two just before it "governs" out it is very sputtery. could the MAF wiring be grounding out or not recieving a ground? it will rev up if i bypass the sensor but it just overfuels because its getting a full signal. any help would be greatful
