ka24de wont read knock sensor please help

Ok so i bought a 97 ka long block with 70k on it for my vert i swapped both manifoilds and sensors over to it and put it in my car. It is throwing one CEL code that is 34 knock sensor ive tried swapping ecu's engine harnesses, knock sensors, knock sensor harness, i tried the 1megaohm resistor trick and got nothing. Its really sluggish and only runs when the dizzy is like 2 teeth advanced away form the tdc on the dizzy. Its probobly something really simping its a all stock ka it idles smooth at 750 rpms any help would be great im getting tired of driving around with it throwing this code. I also tired to hard wire the knock sensor right into the ecu to bypass the engine harness wireing and still got nothing.

Check to make sure the knock sensor is grounded. By that I mean grounded from the knock sensor wire, not the main harness ground, to the block.
