so I have a '91 s13 with a DE from a '93 and sometimes when i'm driving down the road and i roll on the throttle (softly or strongly) my engine jumps and drops rpms all of a sudden. I've already changed my fuel filter, checked my spark plugs, checked my timing, and still no luck. any advice?

plug wires, sometimes even a dry or cracked boot will transfer the elctricity throught vlave cover,(happned 2 me) and it could be an injector on its way out, if u have a ohmeter, unplug your injectors and check the resistance between the two little prongs on the inside it should be between 11 or 12ohms no more or less , then if you have a noid light set, check for a good pulse coming from the wires u have unplugged

could be EGR getting clogged. block it or clean it's your choice. check your vacuum lines. try cleaning your MAF.
