im trying to upgrade my exhaust, im going to get the hotshot headers, and now im stuck with picking a muffler. i heard that flowmaster makes a good import version muffler, but im not sure. Anyone have recomindations? also getting the Hotshot intake too, pros and cons? :help

you want a muffler or complete exhaust? I have an HKS R-2 and love it. Great performance gains, nice sound and it looks almost stock.

will there be a difference in the sound and proformance if just get the muffler and keep the stock pipes but change out the header too?cause i want a nice deep idle and when you apply the gas you deffinetly know you are.:ylsuper

the header will give you a small boost, but the stock exhaust is too restrictive to see any real gains.

so ill change out it all, header, muffler, and pipes. dont know how easy its going to be seeing that im over seas, but ill try. just still unsure if i want to use a flowmaster muffler or not.

Also wondering what is the better intake? ive seen hotshot AEM, injen, etc. and they all seem to be good and i dnt know what one to pick.

they are all basically the same. A 2.75-3" steel or aluminum tube with a cone filter. The difference comes in the cold air extension.

Weather or not you want the cold air is up to you.

ive got the hs intake and header, with 2.5' custom bent piping back, with a magnaflow muffler. it sounds real nice and had deep idle, and i definetly know when im appling the gas:)
