ka24de wiring harness problems with swap

If anyone could help me out here and tell me what needs to be done that'd be great. Im swapping my ka24e out a ka24de and today i got a ka24de wiring harness. I got the ecu end through the fire wall and started to plug it all up, thats when I ran into my problems. The connector for the instrument panel is completely different and doesnt hook up obviously, and there is another clip after the ecu plug that looks like it would fit, but it also does'nt fit. So now im wondering am i going to have to rewire the dash with a newer dash? I really hope not, or and is there some way to fix my problem? Please help me someone whos done this before. also the wiring harness came from a 91 too

I just finished mine u can either change the inside body harness or use the dohc dash plug thats the little 1 after the ecu plug but the 1 for the dash

Utilize a ECCS wiring diagram from the S13 car and mate it to the S12 cars diagram. You will have to pull and swap pins and use the S12 connetors but it is relatively simple once you get into it.
