Ok, I've just rebuilt my ka24de and I have ran it after the rebuild.
Through out the rebuild I degreesed and cleaned everything including the Distributor.
I had it running after the rebuild to check for vacuum lines to block off because I eliminated the EGR.
While looking, i put my finger over a metal line under the throttle body (there is four in a row) because it was sucking.
After I put my finger over it the engine shut off.
I started the engine up again and did the same thing. (i dont know why)
Well... it shut off again.
I tried to start it up again and now it will not fire at all, not a spark!
My friend who went to UTI told me that the line i put my finger over was an ideling deal, idk.
But i pulled the distributor cap off and there was water in it.
I went ferther into the distributor and found some corrosion.
I blew it out with an air compressor but not all of it came out, I dont want to spray WD-40 in it bacause im not sure what would happen because theres a small black box and i dont want to mess it up.
I bought a new cap and rotor but that didn't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks
