Okay so when my car is warm when given alot of gas a cloud of white smoke comes out of the exhaust, someone told me headgasket but the car dosent overheat and still runs strong, another said valve seals? Thanks for the help just trying to get my car to pass smog, damn california! :mad:

Blue smoke-oil
white smoke-coolant
black-fuel
not saying that is wat it is, but it could be your head gasket. Usually if your head gasket is bad, your oil will be milky looking. So id check there. Just trying to help, may be none to you.

Also check if your coolant level goes down over time.

My girl's car had a bad head gasket and it wasn't mixing oil and water. When I took the head off, the gasket had kind of a canal between the cylinder chamber and one of the water ducts, so the water was sipping through there...

Also, I'd figure, if it is coolant it should not affect your smog numbers?
