Hey guys i have a 1994 240sx and it has the stock KA in it, i want to go to turbo but i have not heard about how the KA's respond to turbos (reliability) and how much power i could expect from a kit using all stock SR turbo parts, (turbo, injectors...) also would it be worth the several thousand to get an SR or could a boosted KA be competative? thank you for your time

IMO it depends on how much you like/know about working on cars. If your lazy and dont want to tune your own setup id go SR. If your a diy kind of person that dont mind to get their hands dirty go ka-t.

You can buy a used SR swap in good running condition for pretty cheap or piece together a good turbo kit for the KA. If the tune is good on the ka-t and both cars have strong motors both will be very reliable.

Your prob lookin between 215-250hp on your T25 ka-t setup on average if your setup is legit.

Look at the sticky to learn more information about ka-t's cause it has a ton of info that can answer almost all the questions you asked.
