stop trying to start fights. It's like walking up to your girlfriend and asking her if she is hotter than that girl over there.

Wow...how long til this thread hits the sr forum too...cmon you can DO IT!!! 3 forums in under 1 hour with the same thread!

BTW i vote neither. Both motors suck a$$. Just rip that **** out and bust holes in your floorboard and roll Flinstone Style!!!

The inline iron block motors are my favorite... KA24DE, CA18DET, RB25DET and RB26DETT ... The true big power solutions for the S-chassis.... Unless you decide to do one of those crazy LS1 swaps...

SR20DET is a great motor, but personally i can't justify dropping the coin on it. I believe that with a little work the KA will do nicely for a boosted motor with reasonable power goals.

They're all pieces of ****. If you're serious about power, you'll look into the flux capacitor.

Here is a link to some information wherein you can turbo your KA24DE safely and yeld more power than an SR20 for around $1000 or less. (The author did it for just over $700 but some of his prices he paid were very-lowball).
