yeah really search next time,, haha how many damn times have I seen a post about ka24de vs ka24e on this forum and I only been on this forum for like 1 month, lol i must of seen it at least 3 or 4 times by now.

One is a DOHC the other is SOHC thats pretty much all.

Look, turbo or not? High end tq or Low end Tq? Easy to work on or less easy? Each engine has a bit of a strong suit. The NA guys like the SOHC because of it's natural propensity to make lower TQ, also it is easier to carb and modify with non ECU required equip. The DOHC is much more popular among the turbo crowd. Of course, either can go either way, but that is the crux of it. I have seen some neat KA-E-t's and some neat KADE NAs. Just decide what you want and what your budget will allow. DO LOTS OF SEARCHING, and you will learn.
