hey guys i am wondering is there much of a difference between the 1989-1993 16v and the 1995-1998 16v, because greddy has the 20g turbo kit for the 1995-1998 but i have a 1991 coupe and i am wondering if that kit will fit on my car

the kit itself should work the same on your motor; the onlydifference would be the ic piping....

btw 89-90 240's have the ka24e sohc engine greddy's kit wont bolt onto it

Also you'll need a pin out for your ecu to figure out the wiring as the one from the kit will be for the 95-98 ka's.

I believe, not certain though, that the s14 KA uses a different intake manifold, high mount vs the low mount of the s13, so still, the only difference would be the IC piping.

ur gonna have to figure out what to do with the obd 1 and 2 too.the kits are set up for obd 2, yours is a obd 1.

I am not sure, but I think the earlier KA24DE engines had different cam durations than the s14 KAs.

hes talking about the greddy kit for the ka24de not the sr20det like you are

cams wont make a difference. the kit will bolt on jsut fine. the only problem with it fitting might be the downpipe. sock ont he fuel pump might have to be changed too. theres another thread about the obd1 and 2 differences for this kit. i think if u sell the emanage and get an afc u'll be set as long as the downpipe fits.
