does anyone know the difference between the 91-97 ka's?besides the cams...

and are parts interchangable?

Differences:

-MAFS (91-94 MAFS not interchangeable with 95-98 MAFS)-ECU -OBD I vs. OBD II- Cams (obviously) only the '91 had the more aggressive ones. either way all the cams are interchangeable

The intake manifolds are different and the distributor is also, I know you didn't include it but the 98 has a single timing chain instead of the standard double. Also there are some electronics that are different

Whoa for real??? I didn't know that. Are you sure?? That sounds kind of wierd, how does the chain drive the distrubutor then?

coolant temperature sensor changed at some point after 94

The chain doesnt drive the dizzy, the idler sproket does.

Also, the 98's did have the single timing chain, for whatever reason...
