KA24DE Valve shims?

I just got my KA cylinder head back from the machine shop, he managed to save the valves while re doing the seat and guides but now 13 of the 16 shims need replacing. I have done some hunting on the net but not having much luck finding any.
Does anyone know where I can purchase new or used shims?
I'm looking for,
1 2.00mm
3 2.04mm
1 2.06mm
2 2.08mm
2 2.10mm
4 2.12mm

FR sport has a couple of sizes that don't match what you're after, but damn are they expensive. Courtesy lists the part # but you have to decode them and they aren't listed as in stock... maybe call and see if they have what you need? Get the larger ones and plane them to size? That's still going to be a pretty penny. I'd vote going to a junkyard and looking for Altimas with the KA, Xterra from 00-04 had them, and Frontiers from 89'-2016. I tried searching for Frontier valve shims but hit a wall there, might be your best bet though.


The machinist who did my head didn't have to change shims on a 3-angle regrind and BC cams upgrade so I guess I lucked out. Best of luck man. It'll feel great once you get it back together and start it up for the first time.

Combined probably just as expensive as having the machine shop skim the difference off the top of each valve so I can use the same shim. Obviously not a Nissan product and there are some big jumps in the thicknesses but I think I can make it work.

Choice #3, since it looks like it might be getting pricey. Convert to Supertech buckets (shim under bucket) and use their shims.
