If someones got a few seconds to pull out there voltage meter and give me a few hints please help. I need to know from the ignition coil if the voltage is the same on both wires of the connector when its turned on.

The reason I ask is because I keep blowing out ignition control modules and I can't figure out why. Grounds are good and none of the wires are frayed. I'm noticing the same voltage on both sides of the coil and the one wire also runs the ignition control module and to a resistance box. If you got any hints let me know!

Is anyone willing to take a minute and check the voltage off the coil for me?

OK. Key on engine off the voltage will be the same on both sides. the module grounds one side to fire the coil. What kind of modules are you getting. New, used. You could have a voltage drop across the module. Make sure you have good connections at the module. Too much or too little voltage will kill a module. A bad voltage reg. can run system voltage too high, but you should see other signs of that.

Cool beans thanks for the info. I'm working on it still. I'm running used ignition control modules. I've gone through the harness with no issues. I'll be checking voltage spikes or drops during this time. So lets cross our fingers and hope for the best.

Well to continue on with my problem. I purchased another ECU and popped her in that didn't do anything. So I'm pretty much sure the ECU isn't the problem. Since I don't have any spark on any cylinders I'll look into distributor next.
