Somebody lied to you! It's not just a bolt on affair as the CA and KAs block are different, so no, you cannot bolt up a KA's transmission to CA block. However, you can use the KA's gearbox and attach it to CA's bellhousing.

and even this is harder than many people make it out to be! i'm still in the process of trying to swap my CA gearbox to a KA bellhousing for my s12! you don't just unbolt the bellhousing, and slide it right off...

Trust me Sean, I of all people know this as all my gearboxes are hybrid variants. They cost me a small fortune to have and it's not just change the bellhousing, either. I say find your own road and experiment .

Hey Thanks for the input! Would you be able to help me out to source a RWD CA transmission or help me use the CA BEll HOusing I got a Auto Bellhousing to use. Im putting this motor into a S14 within the next week and the only thing I dont have yet is a box. Please if you can gimme a call at my shop 954-475-7700 ask for Zak. THANKS

I think the guy who bought my transmission didnt use it and is selling it for like 30 bucks or so. I'll find out if he sold it or not.
