KA24DE transmission fitment

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Does anyone know if the KA24de motor will fit the CA18DET transmission. I have a ka motor and a ca18 motor set. The ka is an auto and the ca is 5 spd and i wanna swap them.

You have to swap the bellhousings, but the transmissions themselves are interchangable. The KA has a taller 5th gear for better gas mileage on the interstate, tho.

Do you know how i would swap the housings? Also could i use the the ca clutch, lines and clutch cylinder. Does anyone have any pics of the two transmission together?

instead of clutch i meant clutch pedal, and i wanted to know if there was a spot for the clutch pedal in the auto 240
