267k on the beauty... Its just getting broke in

Anyways, Sometimes it grinds into gears... Its hard to put in 1st, like its been in 1st WAY to many times.. It feels like i have to push the stick thru 2 suction cups to get it actually into gear... It doesn't move around like "butter"

And 5th seems a little hard to...

The clutch doesn't slip.. It down shifts fine.. But it just feels like its worn out..

Should i invest in a new 1? or wait it out? Whats the best thing to do? I don't smell burning gear oil, so i know its not leaking...

And what does burnt clutch smell like? If the flywheel was just resurfaced, what should i expect about the clutch?

im kindy curious about this aswell. Clutch burning is a very wierd smell. We burned the clutch out of my friends dads yota pickup and it kinda smelled like burnt popcorn. Im looking for a transmission right now, on here you can usually find them for 200ish+shipping, but i think ima go a reman unit. But to me your transmission sounds like it needs a throw out and a pilot bearing.

Try changing the fluid out first before taking the trans off of the engine.
