Well I know how to set the timing with a light very well on this car. I forgot to set idle at 650 and realized I had it set at about 14*. I unpluged the tps before I changed it to 20*. The car is slower, but i am sure i advanced it correctly and everything. It seems like the ecu doesnt want to accept the timing value. It was rich before but ran better?? I unhooked the battery for about 1Hr, and reset all ecu codes which was 55 anyway?

Note: I unplugged and reconnected the tps while car was running. I read to unplug while not running as well, would this make a difference?

I messed with it again today. I realized it runs much better at about 15*, but why? I dont get how it could run so much faster with timing retarded? Not just bottom end but quicker to about 5k rpm's. Another thing I can hear my fuel pump priming now for about 2 weeks, and couldnt before. it isnt loud at all just loud enough to hear it for 5sec?
