I don't know if this has ben asked before but I couldn't find it so here it is. On the ka24de swap I just did on my 89 hatch I need the DE throttle cable. My question is will the throttle cable from a 95 thru 98 engine work for my car?

yes, its supposed to make your gas pedal a lil higher though.... i did a SOHC->DOHC swap into my 89 also and I used a throttle cable from like a 96-97 I believe (def was s14 cable)

Ok cool. I just bought one and I was hoping I hadn't screwed up in buying it. Im sure I can deal with the pedal being higher...does it make a major difference in pedal control? I just didn't want to have to use the sohc cable.

I don't believe so, but then again I haven't been able to really "drive" mine yet as all sorts of **** went wrong with my swap and I'm still trying to get it running properly.
