i swaped my1993 240sx from a auto to manuel, and now when i give it a little throttle it revs and stays at 2000 rpm for 3 or 4 secounds. my motor has a z32 maf, bigger intake piping, would i need to tune my stock ecu or buy a tunable one?

If you are still using the auto ecu the idle will run as high as 1700 to 2000RPM.You can calibrate it via IACV and get the idle down to about 1000 to 1300 RPM.

The IACV could also be sticking.

Or the TB could be sticking.

I am assuming all this that you are well using a piggy back of some sort.

If you are using a piggy back such as SAFC you can get your NE points to as low as 800RPM and possibly lean out the fuel and reard ignition timing about 1~2 degrees from the distributor/CAS.

are you turbo'd? A z32 maf on a stock motor is bad
