97 , late 97 ALtima, with single upper chain and the different ground intake cam.

Can I put a 93-97 motor in it , or will computer be off?

i Put new chains on it, the upper broke. The followers and lifters all seem to move fine by hand, so thought got lucky and no bent valves.

Went to test compression after putting back together, and only number two has compression , rest are zero. So figured head gasket went, or valves, or lifters went out and wont pump up now.

Wondering if just putting a rebuilt head on would be ok. Motor has 150,000 miles.
