im getting ready to swap out my high mileage KA24E for a DE but am having trouble finding one. i did a search on yahoo and found some for like 2k thats as much as my car thats rediculous. ive emailed the local shop (XAT racing) and am waiting for a reply... so i was wondering whats the going price for a decent DE

I'm not shure as far as slightly used. You may want to try http://www.ninfiniti.com, it's california's largest Nissan Auto Wreckers. They may have a slightly used DE for a fairly good price.As far as rebuilts are concerned the best price I could find was at ATK, they offer free shipping in the U.S...... http://www.atk-engines.com/

thanks, i wish we had a nissan only wreck yard here in florida. im going to just keep checking the local forums classifieds (tamparacing.com) for some cheaper engines

i got mine from tamparacing and it was 350.00 with transmission ...i didnt come with the ecu or wireharness... had 114,000 miles

A word of advice, XAT will NEVER answer their emails. You have to call them or show up. I bought my DE motor from them for the same swap, for I think 450 for a 1995 motor and a 1993 which had a few accessories that I needed. You may want this too:
