i recently took off my intake manifold to clean it and remove the idle air controll junk. i made a blco plate for the square IACV on the back of the manifold and another block off plate for the one on top of the bottom half of the mani. car wont crank and all harness conections are on. i was informed that i could remove these with no issues and be able to use throttle plate for idle. i also have a N60 MAF not the N62 MAF on the car right now and it WAS running with it. i also HAVE an N62 MAF but dont i need ECU tuned for that? but basically im asking what would cause it not to crank after removing the idle air controll stuff from the intake manifold?

yes starter turns engine. pressure in cylinders is at 180 all the way across. sparkplugs are new. i havent checked spark yet but i will later. just wondering if anyone knows if taking the crap off the mnifold would cause a problem.
