I just rebuild a DE ground up and put on a T3/T04E turbo and not 1 hour after I got it drivable and started the break in, the turbo took a dump. I'm 99.9% sure the reason it went poo is because it did not have enough oil to keep it cool. I was running the motor all-motor with the turbo hooked up and all the piping ran, but had the last piece of pipe turned and had the MAF and air filter on it. Right before it rolled it out the garage we did a check on the oil feed line to the turbo to see it flowed any oil. It did but we saw that it was flowing oil and we didn't think it wasn't enough. I am asking all you fellow KA-T owners if you know of, whether it be home-made or aftermarket, any way to flow a higher volume of oil than stock. Any help would be greatly appreicated.

Did you oil the turbo first before starting??? What size is your feed line? Is there any restrictors? What kidn of turbo. Was seems wrong? No pressure/oil leaking/smoke?

Well, I think we fixed the problem. I bigger oil feed line and a different spot for the oil tap. But the turbo is already fried, oh well.
