Ok so long story short bought a motor a while back, put it in, and when i went to start it there was no oil pressure. Here is what i have done since that point.
1) pulled oil feed to turbo, then cranked motor, nothing
2) pulled valve cover, cranked, absolutly nothing
3)pulled oil filter, cranked, nothing at first then eventually it started coming out steady, so thought oh maybe something wrong with filter
4) went and bought new filter, cranked, nothing registering at gauge or coming out of turbo feed.
5) pulled adapter, everything looked good including check valve, put it back on
6) chucked air through the turbo line, just bubbling from oil pan area didn't seem like there was a blockage in galley.
7)Pulled oil pump ( guy i bought it from said it was brand new thought maybe he was lying) after looking at it, it appears as though he was telling the truth looked minty clean.
8)now here is where i get completely stumped, I chucked air through the oil galley in the front of the block. the air also just sounds like it in blowing right into the oil pan then i started seeing bubbles/ foam in the oil that was left in the pan.
So my question is there a plug of some sort in that galley that could be missing? does anybody have a diagram of the oil galleys in block? Could it be possible that the block is cracked or has a hole in it?
motor is supposibly completely rebuilt with 0 miles, bored 40 over, balance/ blueprinted, etc
