OK i have been working on my KA-t setup for sometime. "money issues suck"

my motor is from a 95 and i dropped it into my 91. no big issues that i know off. just changed sensors i had too. to take everything back to obd-o

i have searched on mutable forums looking for what wire to use for my trigger wire for my MSD 6A box.

finally someone one KA-T.org said that the triger wire is the green black wire off the s13 ignitor. "just tap into it adn everything should be fine"

tried that and the motor turned over. got fuel to the pistons. but no spark.

the motor was running when it was taken out. but im just getting frustrated.

any chance i can get a bone thrown in my direction?

Are you using the S14 dizzy or S13? If you're using the S14 then the trigger is INSIDE the dizzy. I suggest a S13 conversion if your running the S14 dizzy.

naw man im using the S13 dizzy. everything on my S13 harness is the same w/ th exception of I wired in the Z32 maf. I thought it may have been a bad igniter since someone on KA-T mentioned to use the green black wire from it. But after changing it Im still getting the same results. motor turns, fuel gets delivered. but no spark. Its pretty much the only thing holding me up from getting my car running again.

this is basically how i was told to wire it up in my car.

if that is the right way the only thing i can think of is the box is bad. Is there a way to test it that you know of? ~skott

well ****. ive changed the ignitor so i dont think its that. so now its either the msd box or the crank angle sensor. anyone know of a way to test either? other than getting new **** or sending it out.
