V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

I said im not a honda lover that doesnt mean i dont mind them... But you can think all you want about stupid ideas, but if your gonna tell me this than you better tell top secret that same thing as i will bring up again the 3sgte in the supra... See what some people on this forum and every other forums problem is they have a one way track mind, Which brings up the Sr's in the 240's cause if you dont got an sr and you wanna boost a K youll get hated on and people will give you Sh*t cause you boosted a K instead of a swapped SR.. But im saying if some of you block headed people expanded your minds and actually thought about it and saw it either at a car show or magazine you would be like wow thats pretty crazy but i can understand it might be a stupid idea until you would see a k24 s2k... And if you think it would be stupid anyway than obviously your some kind of fanboy or your idea of cool is a flat black 240sx with an SR and thats is cool as it gets, Now if you were different than you would like things that you dont see everyday and that look or in this case sound and perform good in a different manor than they usually would!
Your same argument of "it's unique" could be applied to a front drive 240. Could you do it? Yeah. Would it be unique? Yep. Would you want to? Nope Why not? Because it's one of the dumbest fiving ideas ever. It's not about being an enthusiast or not. If you're a real enthusiast then you should want to do motor swaps to benefit your car, not to be unique. You say you want more torque for an S2k for drifting? Did I miss something? Did RS*R not use the stock F20? IF you're really thinking about going the S2k route, then just boost the F20 and keep the weight balance decent. Don't go d!ck slapping the Mona Lisa just because no one's done it.

P.S.-This thread kinda makes me want a boosted S2k.

You should take all that money and go to track days. Yeah.Or if you just want power, be the first to swap an SRT-4 engine into a 240, and keep the RWD. That would be bad ***.

you ask people for their input, then when we tell you our input, you bad mouth us. our opinion is our opinion, and yelling at us for a "fantasy ride" that wont/cant be done by YOU and hasnt been done yet by anyone else is retarded. a motor to motor fight thats in the same class is also retarded. both engines are great in their own way and the fight will continue on FOREVER.

blaming alcohol for stupidity is viewed about the same as blaming alcohol for cheating, it doesnt really make things better. and has anyone on NICO noticed that people blame alcohol or drugs for a stupid idea? why not just fess up to your fail and cover it up with pics of fine ladies or something funny? /rant

ha wanna be diffrent buy ford festiva and ka-t that thing...but forreal I would have to agree with most not because putting a ka-t in a s2000 is a bad idea but just because buying a car for 10g and then swaping in a ka would be point less kinda like buying a supra with a 2j and taking it out to swap a 7m in it ......now if you could find one that was just a shell or somthing for real cheap then I would do that ****

KA-T S2000... the RB sounds good! never liked the LSx.

if it were me i would take the F20 get a 2.2 stroker kit and attach the newer F22 tranny. iirc 2.2 stroker makes better power and the F22 tranny has better gear ratios...

OR

You can just buy a AP2 S2000 and it comes with a 2.2L F22C and you can get a stroker kit to make it a 2.47L

The F20c can be made into a 2.4L with H22 parts and a few others. All OEM Honda parts.

Hey b0mber can you post any info about this? Have people tried this combo in the NASA Honda Challenge H1 class yet?

I went over the rules and they state:
9.3.1 H1 Hybrid Vehicle Engine Preperation (Paraphrase) wrote:only K20s have to use the factory internals (but get to use aftermarket cams)
AND
9.3 H1 Hybrid Vehicles Only wrote:However, Hybrid Vehicles will be limited to an engine displacement of 2.4 liters.
It seems to be a good idea to have a 2.4L S2000 running around at those NASA competitions.- NASA Honda Challenge Rule Book

Honda guys have tryed it all when it comes interchangeable parts...http://www.hondatuningmagazine....html

Its a winning combonation though!
