Could you have thrown a t3 flange on the end easily? I bet that with a t3 and a heaaaavy port job would end up being the best bet for the 924 setup. Plots are happening...
there would be a lot of porting. it could already use a lot of porting. lol ya we could make something pretty cool for the poorsh

That really blows..

I guess I figured since everyone out here at Adam's drives their cars to the track it wasn't much of an issue, but maybe your talking about LA county and not Riverside :ohno:

Sweet Manifold though Motoman, looks really good :dblthumb:

Yo Moto!
I might be dropping my manifolds off tomorrow night since I'll drive past you as I drop my sister off in San Diego.

I won't be back that way for a while so take your time. I don't wanna work you so soon after new years. :gapteeth:

Nice find! Funny how KA-T guys always borrow from the SR. Technically it STILL isn't legal borrowing from an imported engine, but the California HW Patrol and stations wouldn't know.

I feel for you guys and am glad I moved out of Cali. SR20's/KA'T's are known there and they know that isn't the stock engine because of all the busted street racing there.. They haven't figured it out in Texas yet! :chuckle: I know the day will come soon though, so I'm gonna have fun til it does.. :frown:

By the time that day comes, hopefully most will have moved on to better/legal swaps like the VQ, VH or LSx...

Yes I used solid core MIG. And yes I torch'd it before and after. The metal is cast steel and not cast iron.

Answered my question, one of them anyway..

How you you go about KEEPING the EGR? just cut the hookup off the KA manifold and rig it up on the SR one? I guess thats the only way to do it.. or make a new one all together? Considering doing this but I would like to keep the emissions stuff on. Any input would be great.

What I would have to do is mock up the intake manifold and egr. And yes I would have to cut off the egr fitting and weld it to the Sr manifold. It's doable and I actually want to do it. It would be the only way to make one "CARB legal." Let me know if you wanna give it a go

I picked up a '95 Q45 air intake box and it looks like a suitable substitute for a SR intake box... Just sayin
