I've done a lot of research and i'm planning to buy a s14 se this summer. w00t.

I plan to turbo but have a few questions.

My end goal is around 300rwhp, but i plan to boost to 250 rwhp when i first turbo it and work my way up. I will be using the boostdesigns kit.

1. What kind of injectors do i need? i know i'll need another fuel pump, and what is the difference between top-feed and side-feed, a nd why do i need to convert to top-feed?

2. I know the stock maf is only good to 250rwhp....i'm assuming that i'll need a z32 maf....am i correct?

2. to deal with fuel management with an atmospheric BOV i think i'll be running a blow-through setup. Does this work well? There seems to be mixed thoughts on it.

3. what about electronics? I do plan to dyno tune....but what do i need in reguards to engine, fuel, ignition and boost controll? I want to be able to change fuel maps and boost myself when inspection rolls around.

There are tons of information available for all KAT'ers and you can search for it with the red button... but Ill fill you in on some of those questions

1) You'll need 550cc injectors. Side feed = what your stock ka24de has. Top feed is what the ka24E has. Ultimately, they do the same job. It's just cheaper to buy top feed injectors. You don't have to convert to top feed unless you buy top feed injectors and the top feed fuel rail.

2) Yes, you'll need a z32 MAF and a way to compensate the maf (IE, emanage, or AEM EMS, or ?). This goes for the injectors as well.

3) Last I heard, the AEM EMS is the only plug and play system that gives you full control of engine parameters.

When inspection rolls around, you're going to immediately fail when they pop your hood.

Thanks for the information. One thing about inspections in NJ is all they do is exhaust sniffing, no under-the0-hood inspections.
