im unclear as to what you mean by "not enough gas". how exactly does that feel? do you mean it sputters or does the power drop off? please list your set up...turbo...injectors..fuel mangement..plug gap

Going on a guess here but probably blowing out spark if it's what I"m thinking. If you are runnign otu of gas then you'd of probably blown your ring lands by now. You have a wideband or been to the dyno?

if it's a really disconcerting, stumbling feeling, you're probably misfiring due to too large of a spark plug gap...happened to me, I gapped mine down to .030, IIRC, and it ran perfect after that...

everything mentioned is a possibility. Also your timing could be retarded too much or you are running so rich thats its causes power loss/stumbling, maybe a boost leak. More info about your setup would be a good start.

1996 240sx se 5spd fully loaded turbonetics t3/t4 turbonetics wastegate blitz bov "currently upgrading this to greddy type rs bov" because i hear that the blitz leak apexi super afc II greddy profec b-spec II 3" exh from turbo back running 5 psi because of problem getting rid of apexi for greddy e-manage just got j30 fuel pump Q45 injectors i think they are 370cc's i didn't change anything with my timing

here is the sceneario when i got the car,i checked the plugs and i found that they were some cheap bosch platinum plugs. so i got rid of these andused my farely new ngk irridium tip plugs from mygsr>>>>>>>. also for some reason that when i am crusing, and slowing downthis thing back fires loud. what should i do with my egr tube i cut it and it is dangling there.

if your egr is just dangling you have a major boost leak which would cause you car to run like ****. In fact if you put the setup together yourself im willing to bet there is a boost leak regardless. You should make yourself a boost leak tester and start fixing that. Also just stick a big bolt in the egr tube and make it air tight with some jb weld or shut the tube closed anyway that works.

heres a link to the tester:zerothread?id=113785

the car is blowing spark, one thing that might help a lot is make sure that the spark plug wires are clear of hoses and whatnot. the wires like to ground out easily and this would deffenatley cause a misfire. other than that i would make sure al of your plugs are gapped at around 30-32 that should be close enough for what your running now. i would also check into some supra plugs if that doesn't help.

The Honda (same as Supra) plugs are cold enough for all those but the meanest KA-t's Just buy a cover on Ebay for your egr, or use a quarter covered in RTV, then tighten the bolts down around it. That will seal your leak. Also, since you will be at .044" unless you reset them, change the gap on the plugs.

if you do not have enough common sense to eliminate any boost leak there is then you do not deserve to own a turbo car....

I have the same problem. I get to about 5000rpm in 4th gear and I cant get over that. 10psi and I'm stuck. no miss fire. I am at 11.5 on my wideband. I don't know why. only thing I can think is not enough tq to keep pushing. I'm not in a 240sx. i'm in a datsun 510 so less areo than you guys. plugs gaped at .030. and I'm retarding .5 degree for every pound. No clue why I can't go faster.
