I'm on my 3rd motor and they all ran the same. Not running right! It runs like s*** as in very rich and the exhaust manifold more towards the o2 sensor glows red after just running for 20min. The motor breaks up when I open the tb slowly and if I rev it quickly it doesn't break up at all I'm really lost here. I tried different distributors, mafs, coil, plugs, and I even did a tune up including brand new o2 sensor. The cat is gutted. I've have done the timing with a timing light numorous times now and still the same so if anyone has any suggestions PLEASE help me out.

As far as wiring I think its right, reason I think is because when i looked up how to wire it the wires that were mentioned did not match my plug. As for the motors they were all mine. lol. I had a green coupe that i had crashed but the motor still ran perfect after that cause I was able to drive it home no problems at all. So I took the motor out of it and swapped into the '90 s13 and it didn't run good. I took the "de" out and grabbed the motor out of my white coupe that ran fine still the same things happend. So now I'm on the 3rd motor and still this sh*t happens. I tried to figure out the wiring but idk if I got right. The single cam wiring plug that has to be spliced into the dohc wiring is what I'm worried about. Hopefully thats my problem and I still have good ka's lol.

There really isn't one because it isn't necessary. you literally match any wires that are identical. so yellow to yellow. black with red to black with red. etc. Leave any that don't absolutely match. cap them with tape or a cap or whatever you use. You could just repin the connector, but since you are asking for a guide, I'm guessing that's out of league. Do you understand?

If you have a donor car that used to work why dont you just swap EVERYTHING over to the new car cause if EVERYTHING worked in the old car then EVERYTHING should work in the new car.... atleast logically it should.

I got the wiring correct. Now all I need is a MAF cause mine are all messed up. the car is running fine just need the MAF. Thank you to everyone who contributed their thoughts.
