Car: 96 silvia(rhd) with sr20det, a 95 240sx se, 89 pig nose

I just put a de into my 89 pignose and when ever you start it up it jumps to like 3000rpm and then shoots way up to like 5000 can't figure out the problem it's not the vacuum so I don't know what it is some people say it could be the ecu don't know so if anyone knows please help thanks.

sounds like you might have a iac problem or a disconnected vacuum line somewhere.

when you say iac problem what do you mean. But also it ran fine when it was in the car I got it out of I herd it run before I did the swap.
