Ok, so I swapped a KA24DE into a KA24E body. Is this DE gauge harness all I need to get the KA24E guages working?

I don't want to buy this if I don't need it, is there a simpler way or is this the easiest?

Thanks!

You can just get the tach from a DOHC cluster and swap it in.

Will I still need to buy this DE gauge harness if I just "swap" out the Tach or entire Gauge Cluster?

Will swapping out the Tachometer with a DE Tachometer require a lot of wiring or is it a simple plug?

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?

just the tach from the DOHC cluster .... just unscrew the one in your current and then replace with the DOHC tachometer ... the harness is NOT needed.

the wiring part is just the stuff next to the ECU which is part of the swap ... match up color to color ... should be in the write ups on the swap. that's the only wiring you'll have to do for the swap, its simple and straight forward.

Thanks a lot guys

I hope everything goes together well, I'll tell you if I have anymore questions on the gauges later.

Anyone wanna try and help me with another KA24DE swap/harness prob. What do you do to the Plug UNDER the fuse box in the passenger side of the engine? stock SOHC body has a 4 pin plug there, and DOHC has only a 2 pin plug.

What do I do?
