same transmission can be used

AC compressors and their locations are different, so swap over the compressor and the lines

Same thing with the PS

basically get the engine with accessories on it if possible.

New wiring harness, ECU, and gauge cluster needed

that should be it.... correct my mistakes if ya see any!

Well I gotta question then related to this that I never heard about. I am swapping the motors right now and ran into a wiring issue. Underneath the fuse box in the engine bay theres is a grey plug with 4 prongs in it where part of the harness should jus connect. But the on the DOHC harness where this plug should be, the exact same looking one os there but has 2 prongs. Cant splice them I dont think since the wire colors on each harness is different. Any ideas?

my 240 got rear ended several days ago and the damage is pretty bad, it is going to be totaled i think, the frame is bent and the rear quarter panels are messed up, and the bumper and everything else back there. ill email you silver240sx if i get to do the swap and have any questions.

i just got out of school, and was at a stop light , when the traffic started to move then had to stop for something, but the guy behind me in a 3000gt didnt stop because he wasnt paying attention. hit me and shoved me into the car in front of me but didnt cause any damage that i have noticed there yet. so we got a police report and all that, and i am still waiting on the f***ing insurence pple to tell me how much it is going to cost if it isnt totaled. but now i am smelling exhaust so somethign has come loose, it isnt looking good for the car. srry for the time it took to reply to that, i have been at work a lot for the past few days.
