ok so i have a 92 240sx, and im swaping out the stock ka24, and i was think about gettin a nissan pick up with a blown engine, and then swapin in the Ka24 from my 240. I know its the same motor, but they probably have a different computer and drivetrain. Can someone please give me some info about this swap? it would be very much appreciated

Thanks, shane.

here's a short rundown of what you need to think about. it may not be complete because its info i have gleaned from browsing nico and reading others' experiences.

- you will retain your 240sx ecu and wiring harness.

- depending on your goals, you should be able to keep all the 240sx accessories. i dont know about routing the lines for a/c or power steering.

- shouldn't need to worry about the transmission bolting to the motor, cant verify that tho.

- the oil pan will be your main concern for fitment purposes. you will need to use the oil pan from the truck iirc to clear the suspension and steering components. dunno if it needs to be adapted or not.

- the only other issues i can think of off the top of my head involve swapping the head instead of the whole motor.

good luck.
