whatup guy i hope u could help me with thsi question. Well iam about to swap my single cam KA24E to KA24DE TWINCAM OFF A 96 240SX MY CAR IS A 89240SX SO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I COULD USE A 1992 ECU AND WIRING HARNESSES TO CONTROL THE 1996 KA24DE MOTOR WITH IT OR WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO USE FOR THAT SWAP ANY ADVISE OR CERTAIN PROCEDURES TO BE FOLLOW. IS THERE ANY AIR FLOW METER ISSUES BY USING A 1992 ECU AND WIRNG HARNESSES

yes it will work but you have to get a 91-93 intake and throttle body to make all the sensors line up for the 92 wire harness( it makes it easy'r anyway)also to pass emmissions you will have to swap cams to 91-93 so your ecu dont make you run rich because of the diffrence in cam lobes.if i've left anything out please someone step up and correct me.I have a detailed vaccum hose diagram with pics if you need it.oh and on the intake you only need the bottom part unless you want to keep the SCV.and im not sure about the air flow meter on a 89 but i think you mite need a 91-94 meter,I could be wrong about the meter cause i dont know the 89 sohc very well.
